Just found out that they'll all be back, the Baby Girl (of course, expected her to come home), the Baby Boy, my Parents, and the oldest Daughter will all be here for Christmas. The grandkids are all going to their father's for Christmas and the oldest isn't too fond of waking up alone on Christmas morning, so she'll be spending the night here Christmas Eve to have an old fashioned Christmas morning, just like when she was a kid. The Baby Girl will be driving home this weekend and will be home for about a month! YAY! And, the Baby Boy will be arriving Christmas Day, after his Christmas Eve traditions he started when he moved up near Atlanta. The parents will be here the Tuesday before Christmas. So, I'm having Christmas dinner, first in 2 years, and everyone's gonna be here. Yup, I'm happy!
Mr. Maroonjeans; aka Mr. Greenjeans from Knitty Just have the sleeves to go and it's all done. I'm doing it in Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece, color Candy Apple, 3/4 sleeves. Loved working those cables without a cable needle.
Guess I better go decorate some more. Lots to do and today nothing got done cause of the weather. When it's this bad my sinus's don't cooperate. We've had severe thunderstorm watches/warnings, tornado watches/warnings and lots and lots of rain. So, I had a nice long nap with the puppies and not much else.Happy Knitting!

I had rain all day yesterday as a thunderstorm warning, which was great for me, but means my whole apartment smells like wet dog.

I'm so excited about being there for Christmas Eve and getting up with the people I love most (minus my three) on Christmas morning...Wow, I'll be there when Santa comes. Lord, let me not even say that, I'll start getting sick now. Haha. I love being a kid at heart. Makes life a lot more fun!
Love that sweater, but you know that- told you that when you should me the other day. The bottom is my favorite, what did you call them? Cables? Yep- I like it! Love the color too!!!!

Sounds like you have a wonderful Christmas planned. Glad to hear it. Your sweather is looking terrific. I LOVE this pattern and have been contemplating it for a first sweater. Lovely color for yours, too.
