Happy to be here!

So, how'd you like my guest blogger? She didn't do so bad, huh? Thank you Baby Girl, for handling that for your YOUNG Mommy~!

I'm telling you, what a week! I had a major heart attack (yes, me, at 49 years old! No, I'm not old enough for Grandchildren, never mind a heart attack), surgery followed as soon as I got to the the ER with 3 stents in my right artery and I came home last night around 7. Modern Medicine is amazing. My Dr. told me if I'd had this just 15 years ago I'd probably not survived (me - at only 49!)and if I had I'd have been in the hospital for weeks. I'm home now, being pampered, babied and cared for by my own personal "First Responder" BTB and doing nothing for the next 6 weeks! Can't even do any Christmas Shopping - Drs. orders. So, might actually get some knitting done but so far I haven't felt like it.

I hope you're all doing well, things are going well for you and that you enjoy your Holidays. I will, I'm here, I am a very grateful gal!

Note! The Christmas Swap gift will go out Saturday (can't manage if for the 1st) minus the knitted part - but hopefully that will arrive to you before Christmas Kathy. But, if not, it'll make a great New Years gift too!

I'm so glad that you are home and doing well. It may be hard to stay put for 6 weeks, but try to enjoy the rest and relaxation! You'll probably feel like knitting soon. Take care of yourself!

Oh my gosh! What a scare you gave us! For heaven's sake, rest, take care, knit, be at peace. Consider it a blessing that you don't have to do any Christmas shopping. One of God's gifts at Christmas was intended to be Peace. Accept that gift and let everything else go.

I just couldn't believe it last week when I read what happened. That after everything else that happened. Remember I said you needed to put yourself in a bubble! Now even doubly so.

Please take care of yourself and follow the doctor's orders. Then there will be future holidays to celebrate. This time is all about your getting well.

Take care!

Thank you for the well wishes Beth, MaryAnn, Rebekah, Maureen and Shelley. I'm trying to be good but hate sitting around. Going tomorrow morning for blood work so get to see something besides all 4 walls. But, I'm happy to be here, happy to know you all and just happy to be alive!
Thanks again and hopefully I'll have enough spunk before the week is over to post some pictures of my terrific Christmas Swap gifts from my Swap Pal.

OMG! I am so glad you are allright. I had no idea that had happened to you! I had a heart attack at 40, so I can sympathize with you. You take life a lot less seriously after something like that.
Hugs,
Dave

Wow Sheri, I read your comments over at Dave's but this is the first time I've followed you over here. Sheesh lady, please do take it easy. Don't worry about the Christmas shopping. You being there will be the best present your family could wish for!
