This happened almost instantly after she scratched me. Poor thing, she hates having her nails trimmed but they grow and grow so we tackle her every few weeks. She barely grazed my arm with her foot but, when you're on blood thinners (Plavix) this is what happens. It didn't bleed, just instantly bruised.
This is my first try at some Fuzzy Feet. I'm using some Lion Wool that I picked up at Michaels. This isn't bad for felting slippers but it's too itchy for me to use for a sweater. I love getting the variegated and a solid to match. I have more, too, that I bought last week.
That's it for today. Going to the beach with my Oldest DD and my Oldest DGD tomorrow to bask in the sun. Hope you all have a great day.
Happy Knitting!

Enjoy knitting the Fuzzy Feet. I love making them, but never thought to use Lion Wool. I'll keep on eye on what yours look like and then maybe I'll have to make another pair. :)
I've never made Fuzzy Feet. I think the pattern is around here somewhere but when I downloaded it I didn't know enough to be able to make them. I'll have to look for it. And I think I have some Lion Wool in the stash.
Don't you love those goofy anticoagulent bruises. I just take aspirin and don't bruise too badly but a tiny paper cut will bleed like I've been stabbed LOL
Ouch...Ouch...Ouch!!!
Your projects look spectacular!
That bruise does look rough! Ouch! I thought you were going to put the pictures on here of our flower spree? I printed some of them out last night for scrapbooking! WooHoo. The picture of the blue suit case/bag doesn't do it justice. That is really awesome in person, I can't wait to see it once it's ???? felted???? is that the right word. I'm trying.
Well I guess I will check in on your blog again later ... love you Mom!
Thanks for walking with me yesterday too! I loved it. How weird, three generations went walking....
Love,
Oldest DD
Kathy, I love the Lion Wool for felting and the price isn't bad either. I really need to quit collecting it though!
Susan, I'm always saying I bleed like a stuck pig. Try fuzzy feet, it's fun and they're huge before felting.
Ann, it didn't hurt, just looks awful. I bruise very easily now.
Oldest DD,yes, it's going to be felted, which means I make it huge, then throw it in the washer in hot water and shrink it. Makes them really tight. Yes, you're learning.
Thanks for the comments.
Sheri/Mom
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of your felted projects! I hope your bruise is better. Ouch!
I didn't know you started my bag! Exciting.
=)
I love you, Mommy.
To that last anonymous commenter - if you had your eyes open when you were here this past weekend you would have seen it. It was on the table in the sunroom all weekend. Did you ever sit out there? I think Dad's chair was your favorite spot this time.
I love you,
Mom
